Years of case purchases and comparisons only to find out there is no comparison. Not to these cases. Superior in quality and durability these reign supreme by all measures.
I wouldn’t even recommend I would demand you not consider and cheaper knock of products. This is the only one worth your money.

The case works great. I will warn that you should be careful putting your knives inside as your clip can easily take a chunk out of the foam, which mine did. I would love if the case was sent with some foam spacers so that smaller knives didn't fall in so deep since any shorter knives will fall deep inside and can become very very difficult to pull back out, that would have made it 5 stars. Overall a high quality case and I would recommend it.

The Pelican 1450 40 knife case is a great solution for storing my growing and ever changing knife collection. The Pelican case is rock solid as should be expected and the custom foam is top quality. I love it. My one complaint would be that the knife slots are a little but too skinny for some of my bigger knives. My 4” Hogue EX04 and my Spyderco Manix 2 XL have to be squeezed in and I worry they will one day tear the foam. Other than that, this is the best knife case I have seen on the market and it’s worth the money.

I had used the 6 and 12 pouch Boker knife cases for years and finally decided that I needed a better case for my roughly 40 knife collection. This 1450 was a product that I've seen from other knifenuts on Instagram and decided to give it a go. Well worth the investment! The case is rock solid and built with quality materials in the USA and the foam is very well executed as well. Some of my larger knives like the CKF Muscle has a harder time fitting in but it still fits! Highly recommend this case if you're looking for a solid case to keep your valuable collection in one spot and very well protected.
